For two years I was creatively responsible for Asda’s regional radio; writing and recording over a hundred ads for their stores across Britain. Whilst nearly always constrained by product and price, these were tons of fun to make. And mostly voiced by Ralf Little.

 

DFS SOFAS

A couple of ads for DFS, both brought to life by The Fast Show star Jon Thomson.

 

GORILLA – TALKSPORT

I helped Gorilla to reinforce their position with two radio ads on talkSPORT. Running for a month, these ads continued with the theme of gently mocking “our American cousins.” This time by featuring a commentator getting his football terminology hopelessly wrong.
