With a concept based on the product’s incredible longevity (Santa, still hanging around in summer), plus a line that borrows from a previous well-known festive campaign, here’s my idea that got made as the official Gorilla Christmas card.

For Gorilla’s card the following year, I came up with the idea of using an S-fold format with a typographical reveal to illustrate one of the product range’s main properties – that it sticks things firmly in place.

I was the lead copywriter behind ‘Born to be Red – Show Your True Colour’, Man Utd’s Official Membership campaign for 2014-15. It captured a truth for many fans – that whether it was an unconscious decision, or a long-standing family tradition, they were quite simply born to support the club. These mailers landed in hundreds of thousands of mailboxes – physically and digitally – from Salford to Singapore. And the campaign line also featured pitchside in some of the biggest games.

As a fairly novel way of promoting Asda Northampton’s range to the local students, we took over their student union and put the products right under their noses, in the form of table-wraps complete with QR codes directing them to the local store.
